This week, (December 23) Meredith and I will be discussing angel encounters in dreams, as well as all sorts of non-ordinary guidance dreams. I was not what you would call an angel person, until I began having a series of dreams featuring angels, years ago. They seemed to find it rather hilarious that I did not want to sully my image by talking about them. I learned a great deal from that series of dreams, and am still predisposed to angelic encounters in dreams, apparently. I’m still working on the spiritual snobbery thing, and they are still evidently giving me the benefit of the doubt.
There has been some fascinating research on the topic of angelic dreams, conducted most recently by world-famous dream pioneer Robert Van De Castle, Ph.D. We’ll be talking about the incredible overlap of reports, from believers and non-believers, adults and children. Although one would expect these experiences to mirror one’s prior beliefs and “style” that is not always the case. Instead, the angels have their own methods, or so it seems.
You don’t have to be a believer to enjoy this discussion: it is one more journey into the non-ordinary world of the unseen help that we encounter nightly, and while awake as well. Who are these warning voices that prevent accidents, remind us to be kind, or show us what will unfold in the next few minutes?
Meredith walks in her own field of the miraculous, and we both feel that it is wise to embrace help and guidance, rather than to fuss with labels or be scornful if help arrives dressed in garb that is not your “brand.”
